The Table is the latest restaurant to welcome diners to the area, opening at the base of luxury apartment building 3 Acres in July. Officially located at 400 Claremont Ave in Jersey City’s West Side, the restaurant is the latest comes from Chef Dan Latham, a onetime James Beard Award semi-finalist. The chef previously operated Latham House in downtown Jersey City before deciding to focus his efforts on this new concept.
The Table is open for dinner on Tuesday – Saturday, with brunch available on Saturday and Sunday. The menu focuses on elevated American classics, and features the likes of sesame crusted organic salmon, creamy gnocchi pillows, and braised short ribs along with a variety of pizzas, handhelds, and more. To compliment one’s meal, the restaurant offers a full bar with draft beer, wine, and a variety of cocktails spanning from specialty, to classic to zero proof creations.
For those visiting for brunch, diners can expect a wide selection of favorites including pancakes, eggs benedict, and huevos rancheros along with familiar brunch cocktails in mimosas, bloody Marys, and Bellinis.
The restaurant features inviting, warm industrial chic interiors with high ceilings lending a spacious feeling to the refined space.
The Table also has event space available for those looking to host a party. A separate 2,000 square foot space is available next to the restaurant and can accommodate up to 150 people. Of note is its large table which can seat 30 people.
