On December 31st, Americano officially opened its doors, unveiling a full menu that promises a sophisticated dining experience. Located at 957 Broadway, at the base of the luxury apartment building BayOne the restaurant is the highly-anticipated concept from the Manhattan-based Altesi Restaurant group. The group is known for its success with Italian restaurants Altesi on the Upper East Side and Altesi downtown in SoHo. Americano hopes to be another success as it brings a touch of modern Italian charm infused with old-school Hollywood vibes to Bayonne.

Americano positions itself as a place where the allure of authentic flavors meets the glamour of a bygone era. The design team has worked hard to bring that concept to life. The interior reflects this, adorned with large portraits of past Hollywood stars. Art deco-style chairs, booths, and bar stools surround white tableclothed tables, adding a touch of elegance to the ambiance. The expansive bar serves as a focal point, offering patrons the opportunity to indulge in signature cocktails. For those seeking a more intimate setting, a few tables are discreetly tucked behind the bar.

Elevating the coffee experience, Americano offers crafted espresso drinks, including cappuccinos, lattes, and macchiatos. Specialty drinks, some of which are seasonal like the pistachio honey latte or peppermint mocha cappuccino, add a unique twist to the menu. Complementing the coffee, the barista bar also offers a selection of pastries, including croissants, cannoli, and macarons, ensuring a delightful start to the day.

Adding to the overall charm, Americano hosts jazz nights every Tuesday, providing patrons with a live musical backdrop to their dining experience.
